A visit to Specialty Wood Veneer Panels shop

Visited the shop. Anything about veneer, presses, glues, hundreds of different types of wood. Spent 1 hour talking to Richard. Discussed how a number of veneer sheets (0.6 mm each) can be glued together to make small stripes of wood required for making the inlay.
Looks like it is possible. Richard made an experiment for me, pressed together 5 sheets of oak, red gum and something else, don't remember. The results are very encouraging!
Richard has also suggested using laser cut to make the main part of the panel (the eggs in the pond).
